We have always preached planning for the worst case no matter how unlikely it seemed. At Linda Solash-Reed, P.L. we practice what we preach, and are ready to help you and your family as we navigate these interesting times.
Let’s keep in mind that we are not living out the worst-case scenario. Here is how we are moving forward to keep the worst-case at bay.
Consultations and Conferences
Until health officials advise that we can safely resume all social contacts, we will offer telephone, Zoom video or audio, and FaceTime as alternatives to in-person meetings. We can easily include family members at multiple locations. We’ll help you choose which alternative will work best for you.
There are some situations when people need to be in the same room, usually to witness and execute documents. We will continue to host meetings in our office if your situation requires it.
We have been sanitizing all the surfaces in our conference room and the common areas after each meeting and will continue to follow the CDC standards.
Our pledge to you is if any of us don’t feel well, we will not come into the office! We respectfully request that you and your family do the same. We will be happy to reschedule.
There may be times when documents must be executed but a meeting at our office cannot happen. We could guide witnesses and a notary you recruited through the process, using audio or video conferencing.
Crisis breeds creativity: we are coming up with different ways to safely accomplish what you need.
Administrative Orders concerning court appearances are pending as this is written. It is likely that many hearings will be held telephonically for the next few weeks. (Jury trials are postponed.) We will contact you before a hearing date to confirm how we will appear/participate.
