At Linda Solash-Reed, P.L., we work closely with other professional advisors, including Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioners, investment advisors, financial consultants, insurance professionals, Certified Public Accountants, and tax advisors as part of the estate planning team. We believe the team approach provides our mutual clients with the most comprehensive, realistic and effective estate plan.

Our Team Approach

Step One

Linda offers all prospective clients referred to us by a fellow professional a complimentary initial consultation. With client permission, we encourage you to attend this initial consultation as well. If this cannot be arranged, we will seek the clients’ permission to discuss their estate planning with you afterward.

Linda will spend approximately an hour at the initial consultation. After listening to your clients’ needs, goals and plans, Linda will generally make estate planning recommendations.

After making her recommendations, Linda will quote a flat fee for design, drafting and implementation of the plans. The clients may choose to engage the firm by signing an engagement letter and making a 50 percent deposit, or they may take some time to reflect before moving ahead.

Step Two

Once your clients choose to engage the firm, document drafts are prepared and sent to them for review. Drafts can also be shared with advisors at clients’ option. A follow-up meeting to sign the documents and begin plan implementation is then scheduled.

The signing meeting may be lengthy, as Linda thoroughly explains each document before it is executed. She will also go over the steps needed to implement the plan.

Step Three

Once documents are signed, we work directly with our clients, or with you, or both, to ensure the appropriate funding or designations. We also keep our clients informed on a regular basis through our seminar programs and our monthly newsletters. Through these regular touch points we keep clients informed about changes in the law that might affect them, and remind them to monitor their plans with regard to major life events.

Our primary goal is to serve the needs of clients and we welcome the opportunity to serve them within the team environment.
